Foyer Pictures

I had posted several pictures of the foyer renovation but neglected to post pictures of the final reveal. Well, here it is ladies and gentlemen, the before and after....

Having a ton of fun...

We are continuing to do a ton of activities with Keegan. Being stuck inside all winter has really made us appreciate the luxury of going outside and playing. Besides going outside and playing, we continue to go The Little Gym. We invited Nana to come with us to The Little Gym, so she could witness how cool it was. I think they both had fun...you be the judge...

I have also become more involved with a group called momslikeme.com. The group organizes events almost weekly. So, my friend Alane and her son, Nicholas joined the group at the Cleveland Zoo. The boys really enjoyed the aquarium but were not real aware of any other animals.

April 2010

It has been a long time since I have posted. Now that Keegan is walking all over the place, it does not give me much time to take pictures. He is usually getting into things and I am running after him trying to retrieve the items!

An overview of the month...

Keegan had a great Easter and his main highlight was his windup bunny. He thought it was hysterical watching the bunny hop across the coffee table.

He has also been busy outside. He loves playing in his sand/water table that we bought him at the Step 2 store. He especially loves to take a gulp of water out of the water table when he is feeling a bit thirsty!

I was able to catch him washing the windows today and I had to take a picture since I do not know when in the next 17 years I will see this again!!
The other great event that happened this month is Keegan enrolling in The Little Gym. I was not able to take pictures at his first class, but I am planning to this week. He was able to run around and play on all sorts of gymnastics equipment such as the balance beam, the bar, and tons of mats. Teacher Bill also brought out some balls and the bubble maker. Keegan was grinning so big. I was grinning later when he took a 2 1/2 hour nap when he got home!!!

So, April was a good month and we look forward to many more pictures that are filled with sunshine and a smiley boy!

So much is happening...

We officially are walking!! Yeah! Keegan has decided that walking is his main form of transportation now...so all you girl babies...watch out...because he will be running after you!!!

The other big news in Keegan's world is that his play area has moved from the family room to the dining room. I have always dreamed of a beautiful dining room table and fancy chairs. But, Keegan had a better idea...why not move all his toys and an indoor slide in the dining room. I have to agree...a very cool design idea. HGTV will probably be here any day now!! Here is the desinger himself playing on his indoor playground.

And the last big piece of good news is...I have finished Keegan's first year scrapbook. It took hours of work, but I enjoyed every minute of it. I decided to include a letter to Keegan on the last page that highlights my feelings of being his mom. It brought his Nana to tears. I get choked up too when I read the letter. Here is Keegan showing you the finished product as it is displayed in our family room.

Here are a few pics of some of the pages.

The Engineer and The Kid!

Since Sunday was a day filled with rain, we played inside. Kevin and Keegan put one of his Step 2 toys together. Keegan also played with Kevin's Blackberry and he played with his hoops & yoyo Hallmark singing card. It was a nice, relaxing day....but we keep hoping for a sunny Sunday to play outside. It will come soon enough...I hope!

Step 2..

The three of us traveled to the Step 2 store this Saturday. They had an hour where you could play with all the toys. Keegan enjoyed being pushed on the roller coaster by Kevin and watching the other kids. We were able to get Keegan some outdoor toys that, cross my fingers, we will use any day now!! Overall, the Step 2 store was really cool and definitely a place where we will visit again.

The Bear!

One of our favorite purchases for Keegan's nursery was his huge stuffed teddy bear. I thought we would spend countless hours cuddled up with the bear. Yeah...not quite! Keegan loves diving onto his bear and wrestling with him. We have WrestleMania in his room every night before he goes to bed. He loves it!

Today we were cleaning his room and put the teddy bear in his crib while we vacuumed. So, we thought we would throw Keegan in there too. They had a blast. Keegan thought it was so neat that his bear was in his crib!!
