We attempted to go sled riding this morning with some of our friends. The thermometer in the car read 11 degrees, but we decided to be adventurous and try it. Yeah...not so much! We had not even gotten to the hill and Keegan was screaming his head off. He was not in the mood to be in this cold weather, no matter how fun going down a hill at a fast pace might be!
So, we all went inside and played. At least we got this cute family picture before all the tears came...

Childhood Memories
Keegan finished another semester at The Little Gym. For his last day, Kevin decided to come along and see what all Keegan has learned. Keegan was in 7th heaven having both of us there! He kept switching from my lap to Kevin's lap during our beginning singing portion of the class. He then showed Kevin how he can walk the balance beam...
Then it was time for the graduation ceremonies. Here is Keegan with Teacher Katie recieving his medal.....
And here is the entire Super Beasts/Big Beasts class....
Of course, Kevin felt it necessary later that night to make a cake in Keegan's honor! Kevin is always looking for a reason to have dessert!
We have had a wonderful time at The Little Gym. Keegan has definitely made some wonderful childhood memories at this facility. Keegan will be taking a break from this activity to explore yet another fun opportunity. We are going to be taking a Mom and Tot 2 year old class for 6 weeks. I am so excited for both he and I to be sharing some quality time together in a classroom!
Speaking of wonderful childhood memories, I have had the good fortune to reconnect with a childhood friend. My friend Carey and I have not seen or spoken to each other since high school graduation. I went to Illinois for college and she went to California, so the miles put a temporary hold on our friendship. But, thanks to Facebook we have been brought together again. It has been so fun exchanging emails with her this week and learning what has all transpired in the last 14 years! We both keep a family blog so it has been fun to see what a beautiful family she has! We will have to keep our communication via the computer due to her living in Italy...how cool! One day though I do believe we will see each other again and I think that will be a very special day.
