Easter Blessings...

Wow! We had a great Easter at Nana and Grandpa's house. Keegan wore his new pair of jeans to show Grandpa what a cool dude he is. Grandpa loved the jeans and loved to watch how Keegan is more animated both physically and verbally! Keegan was very talkative and gave a ton of smiles during Easter day. It was awesome watching how happy everyone was due to Keegan's presence. He truly is our Easter blessing!

7 weeks...

Keegan, Kevin and I are doing very well. Keegan is now sleeping an average of 6 hours a night and takes 1-2 hour naps during the day. He has enjoyed going on walks when the weather has been nice and still enjoys his stuffed toys. He continues to grow and I am anxious to hear what his weight is when we go to the doctor in a few weeks.

Recently, our neighbors held a "Sip and See". The party was to sip some tea and see the newest neighbor...Keegan! Too cute! We all had a good time and Keegan got to meet the neighbor ladies on the street!

Keegan went to the doctor this week and got raving reviews. He is growing like a weed and now measures 22 inches and 10 pounds 12 ounces!!! The boy eats all the time!!! He is more alert and has beautiful blue blue eyes that love to look at Pluto, his mom, and his dad.

Keegan Berk Daugherty

Well, on February 17, 2009 Keegan Berk Daugherty made his arrival into this world. He weighed 9 pounds and 2 ounces and his height was 21.5 inches. He definitely grew well in the womb! He has a very calm personality and just loves to be cuddled. Well, enough of the small chat....enjoy the pictures!

2 weeks to go!

Well, February 22nd is only 2 weeks away. Kevin is in New York with friends this weekend having one last ski trip. So, I am taking this time to recap some of the wonderful baby belly pics that have been taken over the last several months. I continue to feel good and I am planning on working up until the baby arrives. The nursery is completed, the car base carrier is installed, the pack and play is in the family room, and the crib is ready. Are we ready? Yeah, we are. We are so excited to meet our baby. I can tell you that this baby is going to be a mover! The baby's movements are very frequent no matter what time of the day it is! The baby definitely has Kevin's energy. Baby Showers!!!

It has been a while since I have posted any updates. One reason may be that Kevin and I have been honored to have several baby showers in preparation for Baby Daugherty. Our first shower was hosted by our friends Casey and Tina. They both put on a wonderful shower at Casey's home. It was wonderful to be with friends to celebrate the new addition to our family! The only possible setback at the shower was that we received 10 inches of snow about a day before the shower. Casey's wonderful City of Norton did not plow her street, so Kevin and Joe (Casey's husband) took a snow blower and shovel to the street so the guests could safely park and walk to the event without falling!

Our second shower was hosted by Kevin's family. His aunts, sister, and cousins traveled as far as State College, PA and Dayton, OH to host the event. We had such a great time with Kevin's cousins' children and eating some really good food!
